# Take a Tab

## What is free
- The notice form (spot, who walks past, tone warm/dry/silly, tab count 6 to 10, paper colour, picture, optional headline, your own tabs one per line, a leave-out list) and .json drop.
- Tab checks in the browser: up to 24 characters per tab, no repeats, and no contact details (phone numbers, emails, web addresses, handles, street or flat numbers) anywhere on the notice.
- The picture can match the spot: the first of sun, cup, leaf, star, umbrella, moon, kite, key whose words appear in the spot or the people (a kettle gives the cup), else the sun.
- The corkboard view with tear-off tabs, the print sheet (blank tabs print blank for handwriting), downloads (SVG, PNG, Markdown, JSON) and four sample notices that replay at no cost.

## The metered task
One task, `fill`, on gpt-terra, metered per run. The input is string fields computed by the page: `task`, `spot`, `who`, `tone`, `count`, `keep` (your numbered tabs or none), `to_write`, `headline` (yours or none), `motif` and `avoid`. The reply is one JSON object: `headline`, `note`, `tabs` (exactly `count`, your own first, unchanged), `small_print` and `motif`. The page checks the reply: tab count, your tabs copied exactly (it puts them back if not), your headline kept, nothing from the leave-out list, no contact details, and no days, times or numbers you never gave.

Keep names, phone numbers, emails and addresses off any notice in a shared space.
A notice about suicide, self-harm or hurting someone is not filled: a tear-off notice cannot carry a helpline, so use a crisis service's own poster (findahelpline.com lists them).
